D Talks #39

Since I continue to experience immature behavior from others, I figure I might as well continue to write about it. I went to muster today, and I was told to help shred some documents along side another individual. I started to shred documents, and eventually the people in charge and the person next to me, and others, started to say things to harass me. This is behavior is definitely out of retaliation to what I’ve been writing to my blog. I think they seriously thought I wasn’t going to upload the voice recordings and write about verbal harassment, or write about the iPhone cyberstalking from the last couple of days. So as soon as I was finished shredding the documents, I wanted to review the audio recording because one of the people in charge said “don’t write,” and I replied “don’t write? Yeah, right.” However, I can’t seem to find that dialog, or some of the things I said during that audio recording. This is suspicious because I’ve reviewed other voice recordings where I simply can’t find myself speaking, or me saying things I know I said for sure. When that person in charge said “don’t write,” he said it loud enough and clear enough, as if he wanted my voice recorder to record what he said, but in actuality, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to find that in the voice recording itself. I’ll review the audio recording a couple of more times, but there are several things that I said that I simply can’t find in the voice recording, which makes me suspicious of this voice recorder, because I’ve encountered this a couple of times. It could possibly be the voice recorder settings, or it could possibly be some kind of hacking going on that I’m not aware of; I changed a couple of voice recorder settings, so hopefully, I’ll be able to capture more of what’s being said clearly. Another thing I said was “not what I was expecting, but I’m not surprised,” and I can’t clearly hear that in the audio recording, but I think it might be because people were speaking louder than I was. However, even though there are certain parts of recording that weren’t clearly captured, there are still parts of the recording that I can share that will demonstrate the overall bad behavior of those around me… which reminds me … yesterday when I published D Talks #38, there was at least a couple of minutes of delay, which seemed unusual, and I was going to send out a tweet, but then the post eventually showed up on the site.

Alright, so after reviewing the voice recording, which is about 1 hour in duration, I decided extract a couple of sound bites, as a sample; I actually like how concise this these sound bites are:

shredding

So, I’m figuring that these people who wanted to bully and verbally harass me thought that the sound of the shredder would be loud enough to cover the verbal harassment; or not, I’m not sure. So there are four separate sound bite segments:

  1. You’ll hear the two shredders, and then some guys clearly says aloud “yup! five” which seems random. Nothing else this guy said was clear. So the reason I think he’s saying this is because the morning after I woke up with an erection, everyone knew about it, it was obvious to me. There is a woman who takes muster, and in response to her asking my name in confirmation, I said, “yup!,” as in saying “yeah, that’s my name.” As I said “yup!” while standing, I hopped off my toes from standing flat footed, to start my stride out the door. If it was any other day, it would have been something normal. However, since it was the morning after they saw I had an erection via the cameras in my room, the bathroom specifically, she probably connected that movement to the erection. As I walked away, I hoped she didn’t think that was intentional; it was just coincidental, I guess. Anyway, so this guy says “yup!,” repeating what I had said, and then randomly says “five;” and I think I’ve mentioned this before, but “five” relates to the five second rule from the show Curb Your Enthusiasm. By the way, at the end of that segment is sounds like someone oddly says “you’re fine,” as if to suggest that it was okay for me to be falsely imprisoned.
  2. The next segment is very short and hard to hear. Through the sounds of the shredder, someone says “you lost,” and I think it was the other individual who was also shredding documents. As I recommended in D Talks #37, SonicVisualizer will help navigate these sound bites.
  3. In the third segment, you’ll hear me say “yikes.” Then someone either says “off!” or “soft!” and then clearly says “rape!” If I were to bet, I’d say this person says “soft!” Jesus! This is kind of ridiculous because many of the people around me will excuse their behavior by saying that they are children, when these people are in fact, young adults. However, most of the people in these sound bites have been in the Navy for a while, and are older than me. So what’s their excuse? Well, sometimes they’ll say it’s on behalf of the “children.” This behavior is inexcusable.
  4. In the fourth segment, I think it’s the same guy who said “soft!… rape!” who starts to take muster. Before he starts to take muster, he says “alright, so,” which sounds like the language I use when writing to this blog. After that, he makes two knocking sounds, as if he’s using a gavel, and then start to sound like a judge. He then says, “alright, let’s get this started.” After a pause, he says that “thank you” that people say when they don’t want me to pursue legal action. He calls a name, which I censored. After a second or so, a woman tells me and the other individual who were told to shred documents, “ya’ll knocked that out in no time.” I feel like she’s saying “ya’ll” intentionally, out of the ordinary, but she could be from Texas for all I know. With the rest of what she said, she’s trying to say that with all the verbal harassment and bullying, that they successfully caused me enough emotional distress to have a significant effect on me, which makes sense given everything else that was said.

So after shredding those documents, I start to review the voice recording and begin drafting this blog post. As I’m writing, the fire alarm goes off. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Turns out that the fire alarm going off was just a drill. Here’s a sound bite of that:

fire alarm

So I continued with my day and I eventually make it to the gym. Being stalked at the gym is nothing new, however, with the recent blog posts, I feel like there was a heightened effort to harass me to deter me from blogging. Today there was this large guy, and some other guys, unnecessarily dropping the weights on the floor to make noise.

Then the last couple of days, as I’m in the middle of drafting these blog posts, people on watch have knocked on my door looking for someone who is not in this room. They’ll ask me if they have the right room number, as it appears that the room number to this room is no longer there. I’m convinced that they are knocking on my door to interrupt me and to deter me from blogging.
