D Talks #52

bluehost – cyber harassment

It’s been a couple of days since my seventh chat with bluehost, and the latest revision of the blog still wasn’t online. I read through their Terms of Service, and there’s something there that says they are not responsible for lost data; no surprise. That still doesn’t justify any type of collusion or cyber harassment they have been partaking in, and continue to do so, I believe, by the way. So yesterday, after getting tired of waiting, I decided to start updating the website with the latest blog posts. The revision of the website that Bluehost put back online, left off at D Talks #37. I got up to updating the blog to D Talks #44, which I had to edit because it’s the only post that I don’t have the published version of. Then I get to updating the blog to D Talks #45, and the website stalls, and then the web page with the sad face on a sheet of paper, saying that the website could not be reached is displayed. I refreshed websites on other web browser tabs, and the internet connection was good, nothing wrong there. So yeah, I’m convinced that Bluehost continues to harass me on behalf of the cyberstalkers around me. As I realized the servers were taking forever to upload blog posts, my new roommate was saying things through the wall, and I’ll get to my new living situation next. Anyway, so yesterday, after some interference, the blog is now updated with the most recent blog post. Hopefully this “mishap” by Bluehost doesn’t happen again. I’m convinced Bluehost colluded with stalker harassers, and it’s evident with my chats with Bluehost tech reps and even Bluehost tweets. To compensate me for this, Bluehost has given me two months of free web hosting, and it appears they also upgraded the amount of storage from 50 GB to unlimited. So with that said, I probably won’t move my website to a different web host just yet, even though I don’t appreciate the harassment; we’ll see how things play out.

moved to a different barracks

So, on the 26th of January, I was called to speak with barracks leaders. They asked me about the issue with my roommate; the one I’ve been writing about lately. Apparently, this roommate went to speak with barracks leaders. So, I told my side of the story. They told me they’ll see what they could do. Later that day, I see a move notification taped to the door of the room, which said I was moving to a different barracks. The notification said I had about 24 hours to move. Coincidentally, an hour or two after receiving the move notification, I had to stand watch; the watch were I’d have to interact with people, so I figured it was coordinated with the move, and it was going to be a chance for people at the barracks to harass me. During that watch, there was another person standing watch during that shift, who was making an effort to speak with me. During that watch, it definitely felt like friends from back home were telling these people to say and do certain things to harass me. Even though the harassment is annoying, it was definitely interesting. Someone even asked me something like, “how’s watching going?” or something, and I replied saying that it’s definitely not boring.

Anyway, after watch, I started to move my stuff. As I’ve mentioned before, with this harassment made possible by the cyberstalking, I usually go from one abusive situation, to another abusive situation. It didn’t take much time for that harassment to start at this newly assigned barracks I moved to. This newly assigned barracks is ran a bit differently. The room layout is different as well. There’s a common area, and two bedrooms, each with their own door. I moved as much as I could that night, and finished moving the next day, which was the 27th of January. Am I still being cyberstalked? Yes, and I actually have something very convincing to write about. Is my roommate continuing the trend of speaking with people back at home to harass me? Yes, and I’ll provide a couple of examples. Is this new roommate indirectly verbally harassing? Even though there’s a wall between us, no, and I already mentioned a cyberstalking/verbal harassment example at the start of this blog post. Are there hidden cameras in the room? I’m convinced there are, and I’ll be more assured with time.

So before I branch out to recent cyberstalking/cyber harassment examples (I already mentioned Bluehost by the way), I’ll write about the third party harassment with my new roommate. So after getting the move notification, I went to check out the newly assigned room, and I met the new roommate. I can’t recall much from that initial interaction, but I think he might have indirectly called me trash; whatever. I moved most of my stuff to the newly assigned room and spent the night there. So, my latest roommate couldn’t really cyberstalking me directly because I could see him; there was only one room. In this newly assigned room, there’s a wall between the bedrooms; so this roommate could cyberstalking without me being able to see him. So I woke up early the next morning, was on the YouTube mobile app, and realized something really odd, which I’ll write about; cyberstalking by my new roommate. So I continued to move my stuff on the 27th of January. I’m walking out of the room with my backpack, and then this roommate walks out of his bedroom, and tells me something like “have a good day at school.” I tell him that I’m not going to school, but thanks anyway. Then he says, “make good decisions,” and I replied “likewise,” suggesting that I know he was cyberstalking, and I have some proof. Then I finished moving. I was in my bedroom, with the door open, and this roommate shows up. This roommate starts talking to me, which I’m okay with, I just don’t want to be stalked, cyberstalked, or harassed. As we are talking, he starts inching his way into my bedroom. I didn’t say anything, but I could tell with him inching his way into my bedroom, that he had spoke with at least one or two people/social circles from back at home. A lot of the conversation was insincere. He mentioned something about “his rules…” for the shared space. If he was lost for words, I understand; I understand what he’s saying. But it didn’t seem like that. You know that college friend I’ve mentioned several times; I’ll have to think of a pseudonym for him. Anyway, some time after college, he asked if I wanted to move into a room in his apartment because he was kicking out his roommate; by the way, it was a trap to harass and cyberstalking me, and I’ll save that story for another time. So now, this college friend is just a crazed stalker harasser telling people around me to say and do certain things. He prides himself on being the roommate who cyberstalked and harassed me to the point where there was a fallout. As a matter of fact, the last roommate who was saying “got him” and “killed him” while playing video games while I noticed there were missing blog posts, as if he had eyes on the back of his head, reminded me of when I lived with this college friend, and again I’ll explain this later; by the way, this was back in 2013. One of the ideas I’m sure this college friend is promoting is to “asserting dominance” when being my roommate. I believe it was one of my classmates who explained this, but, it was something like being the first one to assert dominance, and I’m sure its just applies to living with me, because I can’t see him promoting this in general. He promotes these kinds of ideas as if he’s some kind of deep philosophical thinker. He’ll promote ideas that benefit his own self interest, not ideas that are healthy for society in general; so it’s all just a bunch of hot air. Anyway, a good take away from this is, the people around me take this college friend’s advice and coaching as if to achieve the same goal he “accomplished;” the fallout.

So let me continue with this new roommate. When this roommate talked about “his rules” he mentioned not leaving trash around or something about not making a mess, and then mentioned something about us having our own bedroom that have a locked door. I think he said this because he had the key to my room. When returning to my bedroom, I noticed a couple of things on the floor I didn’t notice before, that I should have noticed. I have a voice recorder, so I started leaving to voice recorder in my bedroom when I’m away to record anyone entering my bedroom when I’m away. Another thing this new roommate talked about are the cupboards, and tells me that I can take the one on the left. He opens the cupboard, there are plastic utensils on the lower shelf, and then he tells me if I need utensils that there are some there; as if he was going to leave them there. Sure, he could have been trying to be nice and didn’t think it was not considerate to not empty the cupboard, but I don’t think that was the case. See, when I went to college, I lived in a coop, and when I moved in, the person moving out of the room I was assigned to asked me if he could keep some stuff in the closet. I was super naive and I didn’t understand this person was being a jerk. I thought this person had too many things, and didn’t have enough room, so I figured, sure why not, it would be nice of me. It wasn’t until I moved out that this person kind of let me know that he was keeping his things in my closet, and he did actually have enough space, and he was just trying to be a jerk. I still think it’s a weird way to be a jerk. Had I known he was actually trying to be a jerk, I probably would have said no. Anyway, so I think it’s my sister who tells this story to the people around me, as if to suggest I’m a pushover or something. So when this new roommate was trying to leave his stuff in this cupboard, that’s what made me think this new roommate has been speaking with people back at home. So I told him I have utensils and that I’d appreciate him clearing out the cupboard. So all that I’ve mentioned so far happened the day after I moved in, the 27th of January. Then yesterday, the 28th of January, the power went out for a couple of minutes. I noticed because the lights turned off. The bedroom door was closed, so I didn’t see the if the power went out in the common area. However, the lights went out a second time. I was getting something from my closet, and the closet light went out, but the bedroom lights stayed on. I then noticed that the lights in the common area were off. So, what that told me is someone is most likely messing with the circuit breaker. How did they know I was in my closet, if they knew I was in my closet? Anyway, so those are a couple of examples the third party harassment, and living space harassment. So now I’ll write about how the people in this newly assigned barracks are cyberstalking with the cyberstalking abilities they’ve been given. (By the way, today, the 29th of January, after the gym, my key was deactivated. I think this is because I wrote how I believe my roommate had the key to my room. Apparently, I was given a three day key…)

cyberstalking – iPhone, YouTube mobile app

So, I moved most of my stuff to this newly assigned barracks on the night of the 26th of January. I didn’t really sleep well, so I woke up around 4:30 AM. Sometime after, I unlocked my phone to start watching some videos on YouTube. I then hear my roommate open his bedroom door and put something to heat up in the microwave, which seemed strange at that time of the day; it seemed like he noticed I was awake, so he wanted to indirectly allude to the story behind microwaves. I’ll get to the microwave story eventually, but briefly, microwave is way for idiots to symbolically tell me that I deserve to be punished; haters. So, I’m watching a YouTube video and I start to get sleepy, so I saved the video to the watch later list. I then scroll through the feed and start saving more videos to the watch later list. Then I double check the watch list to see if a certain video was saved to the list. When I scroll to the bottom of the list, none of the videos that I added to the list were displayed. What’s more, the full list wasn’t being displayed. Videos that I saved within the last couple of days are not being displayed. The list ends with a video about Costco’s stock. Costco also relates to the microwave story. That’s when I figured, I’m dealing with a new cyberstalker, and I’m sure it’s my roommate. So I start screen recording adding videos to the watch later list. In the screen recording, the videos I added before I noticed the cyberstalking, are still not displayed after being added again. Videos that I hadn’t yet added to the watch later list, are added, and are displayed, except for one; bizarre. I was going to take the time to blur out the titles of my playlists from the screen recording, but what for, it’s not like I have any form of privacy whatsoever anyway. So here’s that screen recording:

So, if you watch the screen recording, you can see that something really weird is going on. As a guide to the screen recording, here is a list of the videos on the feed that were added to the watch later list, with details on how and when the video was added to the watch later list.

During the screen recording, the watch later list is checked.

Watch later video count: 41

So the Watch later video count increases by 2, to 41, which is expected because 2/3 videos added weren’t added before the screen recording. What’s strange is only 1/2 newly added videos added is displayed. Is it because of the function that was used to add the video to the watch later list? The method in which the videos were added to the list is the only difference.

The Watch later list is still missing videos, but everything seems to be working now.

The Watch Later list on the YouTube mobile app now displays all of the videos. Not sure if every test case scenario was tested, but it’s evident something is definitely sketchy. There was definitely a huge reaction from people after the screen recording, so yeah, I’m convinced it was cyberstalkers.

By the way, I received this spam call, not sure what the meaning behind it is, if there is one:
